The Denver Area

Easily reached off I-70 about 35 miles west of Denver International Airport, you’re headed toward the Rocky Mountain foothills, 15 miles west of downtown, as you approach our hotel. A warm welcome from friendly staff awaits. Just pull into the free parking lot on arrival. Your comfortable guest accommodations feature in-room amenities including a new Samsung flat-panel TV with 30 channels of premium programming and free high-speed Internet access via Wi-Fi. Enjoy the outdoor pool in warmer months. From our location in Golden, you have an ideal base for sporting events and concerts at major arenas and performing arts centers, a speedway, ski areas, amusement parks, brewery tours, nature preserves, parks, and a shopping mall with dining options.

Denver is rich in history, a Mile High City where distant days of gold rush frenzy are still reflected in 19th century downtown districts rubbing shoulders with a burgeoning high-tech scene, a sports lovers mecca, a brewery culture, and vibrant nightlife. Looking west, towering 14,000-foot peaks of majestic Rocky Mountains display their snow-covered welcome mat to skiers and snow enthusiasts for an extended season, sometimes into early June. Denver likes to throw a party, so when the mountains are bare of snow, summer heats up with a busy festival schedule. Aside from must-see art and science museums and a zoo, outdoor recreation is top-notch; 24-hour casinos and historic mining towns, like the aptly-named Golden, are nestled in the foothills.

Local Attractions

Welcome to Golden, a charming former mining town on Denver’s western fringes, in the Rocky Mountain foothills along Clear Creek. Since 1880, we’re home to world-famous Coors Brewing Company, which operates the single largest brewing facility in the world right here.  Check out the Colorado Railroad Museum and nearby Lookout Mountain, the burial place of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody. Culture, anyone? Red Rock Amphitheatre and Arvada Center for Performing Arts are less than 10 miles away. June sees our three-day bluegrass music festival. Jefferson County Fairgrounds opens and you'll find free music and movies under the stars on August evenings. Golfing, hiking, a water park, and bike paths galore mean fun outdoors, and, when it comes to winter, Loveland Ski Area is 35 miles from Golden.
